While launching her new line of headphones at London's Oxford Street HMV Store, Lady Gaga announced her love for Green Day's 1994 album Dookie.The singer stated that she was so obsessed with the record that she used to lick the album's sleeve.
"I remember when I bought it, I just wanted to lick the pages from the booklet!" said Gaga. "That particular album, I mean, it is iconic."
Along with revealing her love for the record, Gaga also stated she does have fears about the record industry.
"You know, you can download an MP3 but you cannot download a lifestyle," she said. "And the culture of music, that's what compels young people to buy the hard album, and eat it, and smell it, and taste it."
